The Fort Washington Park Greenway between the George Washington Bridge and Dyckman Street is an important transportation and recreation route.  It connects neighborhoods and landmarks in Manhattan and beyond.  The greenway has a history of reoccurring sinkholes and closures which have become increasingly problematic over the last several years.

Stantec and Melissa Johnson Associates, in collaboration with NYC Parks, are conducting a scope study to investigate the issues and develop solutions.  The study is part of the NYC Capital Project Scope Development (CPSD) program and is funded through the NYC Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget.
