Community Engagement

Community participation is essential to the success of this planning study. We want to ensure that the perspectives of greenway users, local residents, and other stakeholders shape the development and future opportunities of this important corridor.  We invite you to participate in the community engagement events to share your ideas.

Engagement activities will include an online community survey, pop-up events in Fort Washington Park, community listening sessions, and presentations to the Manhattan Community Board 12. Check this page for event details and links to surveys.

Community Survey

We invited community members to share thoughts and feedback to help NYC Parks and partner agencies understand how the greenway is currently used, your concerns, and what improvements you suggest be prioritized.

This survey was available from June 2025 through the end of October 2025, and is now closed. Thank you for your participation.
